Maine Specialty Cheeses

Proud Producer of Maine Goat Cheese

Our Commercial Kitchen Project

As most things go in life it all starts with a vision! Our vision is for a commercial cheese opperation which will be successful enough for us to grow and both do full time~eventually!

The actual idea and parts of construction, supply gathering and planning began Fall 2007. Below are pictures of our start to finish, do it yourself, on a budget project. None of this would have been attempted with out huge support from our friends, fellow farmers and customers. Thank you for giving us the will to continue.

                                                        Lots Of Cutting!

                                        Cheese Making Room

Our Milking parlor went from this...                                                                  To a very white this! Thanks to Zachary taking a day off from school.

And thanks to Gabs infinite humor we now have documented that even I was helping with just over a month to my due date!

But we are finally complete and through our initial inspection with one more visit this week to go over paperwork! This has been a family effort and my husband and children have been beyond great. Words cannot thank them enough!
